How to measure your dog

Use a cloth tape measure, or cut a string to use to get lengths and then measure the string with a ruler.
Measurements are specified in inches.

With Dog standing - Service Vest 'BACK LENGTH' is taken by starting where the collar rides on the back of the neck and measure along the vertebrae to the high point at dogs rear. Highest point on back rear is above the center of rear hips. (This length is used to size the vest but is not actual length of the back of the vest.)
How to measure your dog for a Service Vest

Service Vest 'FRONT GIRTH' is the full circumference measured over the dog's back and around under the breast, just behind the front legs.
'REAR GIRTH' is measured over back and around under the belly somewhat forward of the rear hips.
Sizes of Service Dog Vests
The vest girth belts are adjustable for tight and loose fits. Measurement provided to us should be actual circumference size. You may make allowance within small adjustment on Light Vest GIRTH for growing room for puppies, but Pulling DUTY VEST is for adult dogs only.
